Full Moon Party happens once a month on Haad Rin beach, south end of the island. Thousands of people come over from Koh Samui and Koh Tao just for the night, so the roads and the bike shops both get busy. Here's what we tell our guests before they head down.
Getting to Haad Rin
If you're staying up near Thong Sala or the west side, it's around 20 to 30 minutes down to Haad Rin depending on where exactly you start. The road is fine, but on party night it fills up fast in the last stretch into town — give yourself extra time, don't rush it.
Book your bike a few days early
Full Moon week is our busiest time. If you already know your dates, message us early so we can hold a bike for you — on the party day itself the good ones go quick.
Which bike for that night
You don't need anything big. One of our automatic scooters is enough to get you there, and easier to park and find again in the crowd at the end of the night. If there's two of you, go for one of our sport scooters, more comfortable for the ride back.
Coming home late is the part to take seriously. Roads are dark outside Haad Rin, other riders are tired too, so take it slow and give yourself space. If you're not feeling steady enough to ride, leave the bike and grab a taxi — you can always come back for it the next day.
Parking in Haad Rin
Stick to the marked parking areas off the main road into town rather than leaving it right on the beach road — easier to find later and you're not blocking anyone.
